Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene ABS is a low cost engineering plastic that is easy to machine and 3D print. ABS is an ideal material for structural applications where impact resistance, strength, and stiffness are required. ABS is one of the most successful of the engineering thermoplastics available. It is a bridge between commodity plastics (e.g.,polystyrene) and higher-performing engineering thermoplastics (e.g., polycarbonate).
Polylactide (PLA) 3D Printer Filament is a biodegradable thermoplastic printer filament. PLA is synthesized from organic sugars and is the most common material used for 3D printing due to its eco-friendliness and ease of use. PLA has several desirable properties in 3D printing, such as low melting point and glass transition temperature. Additionally PLA exhibits minimal distortions during the liquid to solidification process resulting in less warping of the printed part.
